Rolando McClain felt so full of anger before he walked away from the game that he was worried he would do something he would regret.

“I felt like Aaron Hernandez, like I just wanted to kill somebody,” McClain said in an interview for this week’s ESPN The Magazine.

After a string of off-field trouble, McClain was released by the Oakland Raiders in April and signed with the Baltimore Ravens. But he abruptly decided to retire at the age of 23.

Family says Muhammad Ali watched Super Bowl, not on verge of death

Yahoo! Sports

The family of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali has disputed a report in a London newspaper that the flamboyant ex-heavyweight champion is near death. Instead, family spokesman Bob Gunnell said Ali was in his Phoenix area home watching the Super Bowl wearing Baltimore Ravens’ gear.

Ali’s daughter, May May, later confirmed to the Associated Press that the boxing great was watching the game.

The Sun newspaper in London quoted Ali’s brother, Rahman, saying that his brother’s death is imminent.

The 71-year-old Ali, who was famously stripped of the heavyweight title in 1967 for refusing induction into the military service, has had Parkinson’s disease since 1984. He appears frail, but has made several public appearances over the last several months.

In the end it was the aged, but still game Ravens defense that delivered one final goal-line stand to clinch victory. A fourth-down pass from Niners quarterback Colin Kaepernick sailed long with 1:46 to play, allowing Baltimore to hold on.

In a game full of huge momentum swings and electric, back-and-forth plays, everything seemed to turn on a 34-minute, third-quarter power outage at the Superdome.

Joe Flacco drops F-bomb on national TV after his Baltimore Ravens win Super Bowl

Yahoo! Sports

Joe Flacco led the Baltimore Ravens to a Super Bowl victory, and won the MVP. In celebrating with his teammates, Flacco let some unsavory words fly. Warning: This is unedited video with expletives.

The CBS cameras caught Flacco with his guard down at a moment of celebration, so you can’t blame Flacco for not censoring himself. It’s as much CBS’ fault for turning the microphones on when adults were celebrating the pinnacle of their career.
